My name is Ashley Kew, I own and run Progress 2 Success Driving School which was established in Norwich in 2012 by me. I have many years of experience in driver training and an excellent pass rate. CPD (continued professional development) is something that I very much believe in, keeping myself up to date on new approaches. I like to continually develop my skills so in turn I can help my pupils develop theirs so in 2019 I completed my BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Coaching for Driver Development. I followed this with courses in coaching, CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) and NLP (neuro linguistic programming) . I have found this really helps me to understand pupils who suffer from nerves and anxiety. And to help people to build up their confidence again if they haven’t driven in a while. In 2021 I completed my level 3 award in education and teaching. And in 2023 I enrolled on a level 3 counselling course, this investment in myself, I believe will further help ensure success for my pupils. Coaching, in my opinion, is an approach that empowers and motivates the Driver to learn in the ways that best suit them. The relationship is equal and a non-judgemental one. My training methods lead you step by step to improving your driving skills. Taking you through from a beginner to intermediate to finally an independent driver.
If you choose to learn with me, I will use any existing skills that you have i: e as a pedestrian, cyclist, passenger etc. You have a wealth of experience and skills which should not be discounted but embraced! You have a lot of experience as a road user already, and I, as an expert, will use THAT wealth of knowledge, and skills to help you reach your goal of becoming a safe driver. Learning to drive is not just about passing the test, it is an enjoyable and interactive experience that will benefit you in achieving your driving ambitions for now and the future. i support my students to pass their theory test providing the resources required, pass their practical driving test and also become safe and confident drivers for life.
